The board and friends of One Community hosted its second annual "Walk Around DuPage" during Giving DuPage Days, April 26-30, 2021. The 5-day event was Giving DuPage's "Generosity Changes Everything" campaign to raise funds for non-profit organizations in DuPage County.
The One Community board and friends hoofed it 122 miles and contributed $2,180 to support these organizations on the front lines of human service, support, and fulfillment, including Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Counseling Service, DuPage Habitat for Humanity, Latinas on the Plaza, West Suburban Humane Society, Prairie State Legal Services, Arts DuPage, Hope Fair Housing, Our Children's Homestead, The Outreach House, Glen Ellyn Children's Resource Center, DuPage Foundation, Access DuPage, Sustain DuPage, Garden Works Project, B.R. Ryall YMCA, Giving DuPage, and Share the Care.
One Community is thankful for the incredible services these non-profits provide.
