One Community has partnered with Glenbard West High School and downtown businesses in Glen Ellyn – to showcase in our Village, stirring student artwork. These creative pieces reflect diverse identities and experiences of 21 different high school students – experiences that enrich our community every day. Each artwork, along with an artist statement that explains the inspiration behind the piece, are being hosted at business window fronts located in downtown Glen Ellyn through the end of April.
The goal of the Diversity Arts Project is to bring to the community youth voices that capture their varied perspectives, and allow us to experience and appreciate them. The public can view the art pieces in the Glen Ellyn Central Business District (along Main Street, Crescent Boulevard, Pennsylvania Avenue, and Forest Avenue).
