About the Event

One Community has partnered with Glenbard West High School and downtown businesses in Glen Ellyn – to showcase in our Village, stirring student artwork. These creative pieces reflect diverse identities and experiences of 21 different high school students – experiences that enrich our community every day. The theme this year is A Sense of Belonging.

Each composition, along with an artist statement that explains the inspiration behind the piece, is being hosted at business window fronts in downtown Glen Ellyn during the month of April. Preview these impactful works of art and accompanying artist statements on One Community website. Participate in a treasure hunt to discover all of the 21 artworks on display – you can download the Treasure Hunt Card from Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn page, or pick up a card at The Bookstore of Glen Ellyn or at Gather & Collect.
