About the Event
We invite you to walk with us as part of the One Community parade entry at Glen Ellyn’s 4th of July Parade. Join us as individual community members, or as residents representing area community organizations, to march together as one community. Bring a sign/banner of your organization or make one that morning at our parade staging area (we will have sharpies and poster boards). Remember to also wear your One Community t-shirt, if you have one from a previous parade. We will have additional t-shirts handy as well. Feel free to bring any appropriate paraphernalia that represents your group and the diversity of this nation, as we portray a united community that cherishes all its neighbors.
Health and safety of our community is of utmost importance. Please follow all CDC, state, and local public health guidelines. The parade organizers have indicated that candy/flags (but no paper advertisements) may be distributed to the crowd by handing it to them.
