About the Event
One Community has had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom since our early days. Sisterhood is an organization dedicated to building bridges of trust and respect, to unite against bigotry and acts of hate, one Muslim and one Jewish woman at a time. We can all learn from their approach and insights, to “improve the world that we bequeath to our children and grandchildren,” through a commitment “to understanding all that separates us and celebrating all that unites us.”
Please join One Community and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, as we welcome Kathie Bender and Samira Qureshi from Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom, as they share their journey of building understanding for a more just world.
